EAC Ministers Convene to Review Proposed Budget for FY 2026/2027 in Arusha

During the 60th Extra-Ordinary Meeting of the EAC Council of Ministers held in Arusha, discussions centered on the proposed East African Community budget for FY 2026/2027 ahead of its submission to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA). The meeting also reviewed Partner States’ contributions, assessed budget performance for FY 2025/2026, considered supplementary budget proposals, and evaluated progress on implementing directives from the 25th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State.
