Kenya Leads Regional Defence Talks at 42nd EAC Sectoral Council Meeting

Kenya led deliberations at the 42nd meeting of the Sectoral Council on Cooperation in Defence Affairs, bringing together top defence officials from all eight East African Community (EAC) Partner States. The high-level session focused on strengthening regional peace and security cooperation. Senior representatives, including Ministers of Defence, Chiefs of Defence Forces, and military officers, participated in the discussions. Kenya’s delegation included the Assistant Chief of the Defence Forces in charge of Operations, Doctrine and Training, Major General Fredrick Leuria, alongside other senior Kenya Defence Forces officers.
