Launch of Ateker Leaders Council Marks Milestone for Regional Peace Efforts in Turkana

Honourable Beatrice Askul Moe, arrived in Lodwar Turkana County, to preside over the official operationalization of the Ateker Leaders Council, a structured framework designed to promote peaceful coexistence among communities along the borders of Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Ethiopia. She was joined by Principal Secretary for Internal Security and National Administration, Dr. Raymond Omollo, as well as area leaders, for a courtesy call and briefing at the County Commissioner’s office, where they reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing regional peace, security, and cooperation.
