Strengthening Kenya–Singapore Ties Through Trade and Strategic Partnerships
Hon.Beatrice Askul Moe, reaffirmed that Kenya and Singapore enjoy strong bilateral relations anchored on shared priorities and mutual economic interests. During her meeting with Dr. Ernest Kan, Singapore High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya, discussions focused on strengthening ties through initiatives such as a potential Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the East African Community and collaboration in port development. Dr. Kan highlighted ongoing areas of cooperation and emphasized leveraging Kenya’s position as a gateway to East Africa. The meeting was further supported by his delegation, including officials from PSA International, signaling opportunities for deeper economic integration and infrastructure growth.
